Happy thirty year anniversary of our graduation! I'm sure that you have as much trouble believing that thirty years have passed as I do. In many ways, it feels like just yesterday.
This is such an incredible opportunity for us to be together again, to thank Mr. Allen for his dedication to the students of PHS, to renew old friendships, and maybe even heal a few old wounds.
If you are still hesitating about registering at the website or actually attending the reunion, DON'T! Choir people are the most down to earth people you will ever meet, remember? I've corresponded with several people from this multi-year reunion now, and they are the best.
Several weeks ago, I sent out thirty letters to former classmates. Only one person registered at the website, and only four letters were returned as undeliverable, so by my calculations, twenty-five of you are still thinking it over.
We've made a pretty poor showing so far on the "Found" list. Only thirteen of us have sent their contact information to the central choir database. It doesn't mean a commitment to attend if you do this, but it will help me to know if you received the letter I sent out. It will also allow you to participate in the reunion even if you can't attend next summer. We're looking for all of you to send us whatever choir memorabilia you have-- which we can put up on the website, include in a Memorabilia Book for Norm, and use in a multimedia presentation at the reunion itself. We don't want anyone to be left out, so please let us know where you are!
